How does it work?

Concrete that is visible and integrated into a design requires finishing to refine and beautify the surface. Areas such as driveways, patios, footpaths and walls are able to be finished in many ways to include colour, texture and pattern. Most projects simply require a strike-off and screeding to achieve flawless contouring and elevation. Whilst other surfaces are commonly broomed, trowelled or floated to achieve a unique finish.

Before the concrete is placed, the team meticulously checks the formwork and reinforcement to ensure they are clean and free of any threats, such as protruding ends of tying wire. The concrete is poured with precision to ensure it remains close to its final positioning. Our experienced team will always ensure that the pour runs smoothly and precisely, to ensure the formwork is not overfilled or dislodged. CFM has seen many scenarios of amateur approaches to pouring concrete, resulting in poor surface finished and the concrete not being fully compacted.
